Mulled Orange Wine

Mandarin oranges are considered traditional symbols of abundance and good fortune, often presented to friends and family during the holiday season. Which makes them a seasonally-appropriate addition to your wintery wine favorite.

1 small lime, juiced

  • 4 cups dry red wine

  • 1 ¼ cups brandy

  • 1 ounce Mandarinello liquor

  • 1/4 cup Vermont maple syrup

  • 2 large oranges

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 1 packet mulling spices

  • 1/4 cup cranberries

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pour wine, mandarinello and brandy into large stovetop pot. Add half of the maple syrup, the cinnamon cloves and all of the mulling spices.

  2. Heat the mixture on low until the wine bubbles. Turn down heat.

  3. Add additional maple syrup as desired.

  4. Keep on stove to remain warm while serving
